3M™ Tape Primer 94

3M™ Primer 94 is a clear liquid with a strong odor used to enhance adhesion.

It has no analogues from other manufacturers, developed by 3M™, a world leader in the manufacture of auto accessories and auto chemicals. Its main purpose is to enhance the adhesive effect of films, tapes or other self-adhesive materials. Primer 94 3M™ is an indispensable assistant when wrapping a car with film! No serious work can be done without it.

Primer 94 can be used to increase adhesion to surfaces such as polyethylene, polypropylene, ABS, PET/PBT combination, concrete, wood, glass, metal and painted metal surfaces.

Surface preparation:

The area to which Primer 94 is applied must be clean and dry. To clean a contaminated surface, it is recommended to use a 1:1 mixture of isopropyl alcohol and water.

Application:

Before use, the jar of Primer 94 must be shaken. Apply a thin, uniform layer to the surface to be bonded, using the minimum amount necessary to evenly cover the entire surface. Allow Primer 94 to dry before gluing. This usually takes 5 minutes at room temperature. Make sure that the area to which the Primer is applied is free of contamination.

Porous surfaces may require reapplication of Primer 94 to achieve uniform coverage and good adhesion. In this case, it is necessary to let the first layer of Primer 94 dry and only then apply the second layer.

Primer 94 can be applied with a brush or swab.

Cleaning:

Isopropyl alcohol is used to remove Primer 94.*

Shelf life:

12 months from the date of receipt by the customer, subject to the following conditions:

•The primer is stored in its original packaging.

•The packaging (jar) is tightly closed to prevent solvent evaporation.
